Start Journaling #10
June 3rd, 2024
This week, I will be talking about why journaling is so important. I will show you the benefits of journaling and why you should be doing it every day. Journaling daily will help with organizing your thoughts while giving you the time to discuss whatever you need to. I will show you what gratification journaling is and why it’s so important as well.
When I started improving myself, I found out the power behind journaling and why I think it’s so important. Journaling is not only good for your mental health, but it will also make you grateful, especially if you do gratification journaling. What I want you to do is grab a pencil and a journal or piece of paper, and at the end of every day, I want you to write down three things that you were grateful for that day. For example, you can write, “I’m grateful for having a loving family; I’m grateful for a roof above my head; and I’m grateful for being able to go to school. That’s what gratification journaling is. Simple yet effective. Doing this every day will give you the insight needed to realize what you are grateful for and will open your eyes to things that you didn’t realize you took for granted. Some people in the world don’t have even half of what you do. It is important to journal each day. This will cause your brain to wake up and be thankful for what you have.
Next is writing goals with a time frame for you to achieve them on time. For example, I want to learn to wheely on a bike by the end of the month. This simple thing you write down will give you the incentive to complete that goal. Your brain unconsciously tracks that time frame, and if you put your all into it, you will be able to achieve anything you write down in that journal.
That’s it for this week I hope you enjoyed it.
Cool quote: “Your journal will stand as a chronicle of your growth, your hopes, your fears, your dreams, your ambitions, your sorrows, your serendipities.”
